Backbrief is run by Charles Ashe, operating from Charleston, South Carolina. The short version: this site collects what you type into a form, uses it to deliver what you asked for, and does not sell it to anyone. The longer version follows.
What gets collected
If you sign up for the free kit, the form receives what you enter: your name and email, plus anything else you type. The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. The signup form is an embedded widget served by HighLevel, and it may set its own cookies or record standard submission data (such as the page it was submitted from) inside the widget.
How it gets used
Signups are used to deliver the kit and its short email series, and occasionally to send relevant follow-up email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time.
Who touches the data
Form and email handling run on HighLevel (LeadConnector), the CRM behind the forms on this site. Hosting runs on Vercel. Payments for Backbrief Business OS are processed by the payment provider linked at checkout; card details never touch this site or the CRM. No data is sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Retention and your choices
Contact records are kept for as long as they are useful for the relationship. Want your data corrected, exported, or deleted? Email charles@charlesashe.ai and it will be handled, no form required.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date above changes with it. Questions go to charles@charlesashe.ai.
